Reindeer on the road in the northernmost Finland
In Finland there are around 220 000 reindeer. You can find them in the northernmost parts of the country (namely in Lapland, in the Oulu region and in Kainuu). In Finland the reindeer herding area covers some 123 000 km2, or about 37% of the country’s total surface.
