Winter landscape from Pello in Finnish Lapland
The Lapland (Lappi in Finnish) is the northernmost and the most exotic region of Finland. The area covers about one third of the surface of Finland, and is known for its reindeer, northern lights and Santa. This photo was taken in February at the top of the Mount Rita (Ritavaara) in Pello in Lapland, home of the Ritavalkea Ski Resort.
