Pello in Lapland is the fishing capital of Finland, but also a great winter destination. Pello is located about 100 km west of Rovaniemi – the capital of Finnish Lapland and the Official hometown of Santa Claus. Pello is also known as the reindeer land of Santa Claus and is a good destination for ice fishing, husky riding and snowshoeing. The village of Juoksenki is crossed by the arctic circle. In Pello and in Finnish and Swedish Lapland taxi and transport services are offered by Pello Taxi Lapland.
