Finland has some funny, but also weird traditions to offer. The unique Sleepyhead Festival takes place on the 27th of July, the official Sleepyhead day, every year in Naantali in southern Finland. Visitors can enjoy shopping at the Sleepyhead Market and explore a variety of other events too, it’s fun for the whole family. At the beginning of the festival, the Official Sleepyhead of the year is thrown into the sea at 7h00 o’clock in the morning.
